news.<br>News that hit me like a million embers,<br>while I coped with the mental bruise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I remember that afternoon, on the phone with my mother<br>Where I screamed and cried till my throat was hoarse.<br>She said the person driving me home was my father<br>While I screamed for remorse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I remember that evening, where I made pretzels.<br>They were frozen for months, but they tasted okay.<br>I played games to distract myself, but even then<br>I wasn\u2019t ever that stable during these hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I remember that night, that painful night.<br>I reluctantly got in the shower after a long friendly call,<br>Where my tears melted into the water,<br>And I relived the pain all over again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So just remember,<br>If you have a Thursday
