The Heart and Soul nebulae are seen in this infrared mosaic from NASA’s Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, or WISE. Also visible near the bottom of this image are two galaxies, Maffei 1 and Maffei 2. Maffei 1 is the bluish elliptical object and Maffei 2 is the spiral galaxy. All four infra-red detectors aboard WISE were used to make this image. Colour is representational: blue and cyan represent infra-red light at wavelengths of 3.4 and 4.6 microns, which is dominated by light from stars. How do we shine like stars?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is it the color of our soul?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Golden like honey<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sweet and rich<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is it our movement?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dancing and spinning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

through the dead of night<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is it our brightness?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like a blazing fire<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hot and fierce<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is it our connectedness?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Placed with purpose<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forming our stories<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do we shine like stars?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is it inside of us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaking into the world around us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or is it on the outside?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our smile beaming<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And our eyes glittering<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do we shine like stars?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, whatever it is<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope to continue burning bright<\/p>\n\n\n\n
