A satellite floats in Earth’s vicinity, but never swims with it.
A satellite views Earth with diligence.
A satellite does its job with purpose:
A satellite exists, for Earth, at its own expense.
A satellite loves Earth.
Despite knowing Earth will never know,
Despite knowing Earth will one day forget its watchful presence,
A satellite loves Earth.
