On March 12, the Variations Choir performed a mini-concert at Pellissippi State Community College’s Goins College Center, directed by Liberal Arts Professor Maegan Humphreys. Serving as a send-off concert for the group, the performance showcased a sample of songs the choir would go on to perform during their spring break tour in Prague and Bratislava. For those that had attended their previous concert on February 27, the mini-concert contained a few new songs they hadn’t previously performed.

Being up close to the choir was a really cool experience. In such close quarters, the choir’s powerful and passionate voices carried into the soul, making this short event more than worth the time. As a preview of the then-upcoming tour, the mini-concert served as strong inspiration to see them in full concert as soon as possible… I know I certainly will, and I absolutely recommend going to see these very talented people whenever you have the chance.
