Introduction by Draven Copeland, Editor-in-Chief and Evie Hawkey

Behind the scenes at Imaginary Gardens, our Lead Cartoonist, Evie Hawkey, has been cooking up her first ever sequential comic series, while keeping up with creating and exploring Pax’s adventures, her other enterprise with us that she has helmed from the beginning. The Enormous Eight has been her vision for some time now, and I’m so excited to present it with her in this issue, along with many other creative works I’m very excited about. In her own words,

“The time for heroes has come…

In a world not so similar to ours, an unseen war rages between evil rulers and mighty powers. It’ll take Eight outsiders to rekindle faith and hope to the good people who need it the most. However, our individuals will face irredeemable and powerful villains, backlash from belligerent civilians, and face the inner conflict between the heroes themselves. But time is of the essence. The Enormous Eight are racing against an invisible doomsday clock to save as many believers as they can, before a new god rises and a new, living, hell will be raised!”
